Information collected
When you contact the business or submit a photo, the information may include your name, email address, phone number, service location, message, photo location, caption, uploaded image, file information, contest agreements, and submission date. Standard hosting logs may also include device, browser, IP address, and request information used for security and reliable operation.
How information is used
- Respond to service and contact requests.
- Review, administer, and judge Sunset of the Month entries.
- Contact prospective winners and arrange prize service.
- Display approved photos, photographer names, locations, and captions.
- Prevent duplicate, fraudulent, unsafe, or abusive submissions.
- Maintain, secure, and improve the website.
What is displayed publicly
For approved contest entries, the public gallery may show the photo, entrant name, general photo location, caption, and winner status. Email addresses and phone numbers are not displayed in the gallery.
Maintenance and replacement reminder plans
If you save a reminder plan, we store your name, email, optional equipment nickname, selected reminder types, equipment or filter details, care dates, first reminder dates, repeat intervals, and the wording, version, and time of your permission. These details are not published in a gallery or public list. The plan is stored with automatic messaging inactive; an email/text sending service is not currently connected. Your email and reminder choices must be confirmed before email reminders can be activated. Reminder permission is not consent to unrelated marketing, a paid plan, or a service booking.
Your private manage link is the access key for that plan. Anyone with it can view, update, or remove the plan, so keep it private. We store a one-way hash of the key; do not post the link publicly. Removing a plan deletes its saved contact, equipment, schedule, and permission record from the reminder database. Contact Sunset if you lose the link or need help with your information.
You may download calendar reminders without saving a plan or providing contact details. These files are created in your browser. Your calendar provider handles imported events and notifications under its own settings and policies. Updating or removing a website plan does not change copies already imported into a calendar; edit or delete those in the calendar itself.
Storage and sharing
Website data and uploads are stored through the website's hosting and cloud-storage providers. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to host, secure, or operate the site, or when required by law. Sunset Air & Services does not sell personal information.
Retention
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, contest administration, business records, security, and legal obligations. Rejected photo files may be deleted after review. Winning entries and required contest records may be retained longer.
Your choices
You may ask to correct contact information or remove an approved photo from future public display by emailing sunsetairandservices@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or completed-transaction purposes.
Children
The contest and website forms are intended for adults. Sunset Air & Services does not knowingly collect contest entries from anyone under 18.
